Introduction

These ‘Terms of Use’ govern your use of www.ready2loop.org (including all subsites) (the ‘Website’); by using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use in full. If you disagree with these terms of use or any part of these Terms of Use, please do not register, subscribe or use the Website.

Cookies

The Website uses cookies. By using the Website and agreeing to these Terms of Use, you consent to our use of cookies.

Updates

Please note that these Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Notification of any changes will be stated clearly at the Website. In continuing to use the Website you confirm that you accept the new Terms of Use in full.

Registration

You can access many areas of the Website without registering or subscribing but if you wish to get access to the Readiness Assessment at ready2loop.org/my-loop, you may be required to register with the Website.

Employee Profile: When you register on the Website you are creating an Employee Profile. In this process you will be asked to provide personal information (name/company email/company/function/position) and will be required to create a password. We will store your password, but in an encrypted format, so only you can access it. If you forget the password, you can reset it. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. Since the Readiness Assessment is connected to the company where you work, we will ask for your company email. In order to ensure you are the right user, we will send a confirmation link to this company email, which you must accept, in order to be registered. You agree that personal information that you supply to us will be accurate and kept updated at all times.

Company Profile: The company, which you have typed in, when registering your Employee Profile, will be registered in our database as a Company Profile. If you are a Danish company we will store publicly available data (CVR/ size/ primary sector/ secondary sector/ geography) extracted from virk.dk. Employee Profiles with the same email domains will be connected the same Company Profile. If we have reason to believe that there is the likelihood of a breach of security or misuse of the Website through your Employee Profile or the use of your password, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.

Terminate account: If you for some reason want to terminate your Employee Profile or your Company Profile send an email to info@ready2loop.org and we will close the account and delete any data you have entered if requested. You may not possess more than one Employee Profile from the same company, within the Website. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to delete or cancel the registration of any person who in our opinion possesses more than one profile linked to one company.

The Readiness Assessment

You will be able to use the Website to make a free Readiness Assessment in Circular Economy (the “Readiness Assessment”).

Target: The Readiness Assessment is not intended for personal use, but is targeted at manufacturing companies. Other organisations (e.g. Service providers, NGO’s, research institutes, consultancies), which are not manufacturing companies, are out of scope for the Readiness Assessment. These organisations are welcome to register for and try out the Readiness Assessment, but the questions and our automatically generated Company Readiness Results may not fit their context well.

Employee Readiness Score: This is an analysis of your answers to 30 questions based on your own judgement, and is kept confidential. This score will automatically be linked to your Company Profile and consolidated with Readiness Scores submitted by other Employee Profiles linked the same Company Profile. Only you will be able to see your previous answers to the 30 questions and you will not be able to see your personal total Readiness Score.

Company Readiness Results: This is your company’s consolidated readiness profile with status and recommendations, internal benchmarking and external benchmarking. You will only be able to see the total consolidated results of the company linked to your Employee Profile. Any decisions that you make based on the Company Readiness Results are your own responsibility. The ready2LOOP project is not be liable for the consequences of any such decisions.

Use of Data

As ready2LOOP is a research project to support Danish industry in the transition to CE, we will record and use both Employee Scores and consolidated Company Scores, and these will be kept confidential. Data will be used as input for general statistics on Readiness of Circular Economy and for Transition Paths. Consolidated results will be available on the ready2LOOP Website, in publicly available reports, scientific papers and communicated broadly via consortium partners. Individual Employee Data or Individual Company Results will never be shared. We may use your company email to contact you. When you register, we will add you to our newsletter list and keep you updated with benchmarking news unless you actively deselect this service under “my Profile”.

Exclusion of Third Party Rights

These Terms of Use are not intended to benefit any third party or be enforceable by any third party.

Licence to Use Website

Unless otherwise stated, The Technical Univeristy of Denmark (DTU) owns the intellectual property rights of the material and results on the ready2LOOP Websites, including but not limited to copyright and associated moral rights, trade marks, and unregistered rights, goodwill, know-how, software, database rights, and other intellectual property rights. Where contents feature the intellectual property of third parties that we do not own, this is clearly stated.
